Meet the heart of Legal Interpreters LLC, our dedicated team! Here you’ll discover the faces and stories behind our success. Each team member brings unique skills and passion to our work.

Agata Baczyk, CEO

“I was born and raised in Poland and moved to the USA at 19.  I bartended my way through CUNY college, working as an interpreter on the side, and upon graduation pursued a court interpreting career. I established Legal Interpreters in 2013 while living in NJ. A year later I relocated the business and my family to FL, where we still reside.
My Polish husband and I are proud parents of two beautiful children – a son born in 2018 and a daughter in 2022. Our family, including our Polish-trained yellow lab, makes annual trips to Poland. We also own a pet pig, Peppa.
I am an avid Cross-fitter, I love sports, and I am currently pursuing a new passion, learning horseback riding. I enjoy traveling and dragged my kids around the globe for family adventures like hiking in Hawaii or Seattle, or simply lounging on a beach in the Caribbean or Croatia.”

Stiven Arce, Director of Operations

“I was born in the beautiful country of Colombia and immigrated to the U.S. in 1996, growing up in South Florida. I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelors in Applied Linguistics which fueled my love for languages. I now speak five languages—English, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, and American Sign Language.
Alongside my work, my life revolves around my cat Luna—my mini fur daughter— and my passion for exploring new places, trying out every new restaurant like it’s Thanksgiving dinner, and staying active with CrossFit and running. When I’m not working or adventuring, you can probably find me tending to my indoor plant collection.
Through it all, my journey has shaped who I am, and while I take pride in my role as Director of Operations at Legal Interpreters LLC, my heart is always close to home and the things that bring me joy outside of work.”

Alicja Zyzdryn, Translation Department Manager

“I was born in Poland and moved to Florida as a young child, which sparked my fascination with travel and cultures. This early exposure shaped my lifelong passion for languages, inspiring me to study Spanish, Russian, and Arabic. My love for languages also shaped my early career in academic research in psychology, technical writing, and instructional design.
Over the years at Li, I’ve worn many hats, beginning as an interpreter scheduler and eventually gaining experience in almost every department of our fast-growing company.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my standard poodle, Fenris, participating in dog sports or exploring the wilderness together. I also enjoy my hobbies like Dungeons & Dragons, reading my favorite genres—science fiction, fantasy, historical fiction, and horror—and attending live metal music shows. As a certified Olympic-style archery instructor, I teach classes part-time, helping others develop their skills in the sport.”

Polina Gorelova, Scheduling and Marketing Coordinator

“Originally coming from Kaliningrad, I’ve been living in Warsaw for almost 10 years now. As the scheduling coordinator at Legal Interpreters, I manage interpreter assignments and ensure smooth communication between clients and interpreters. In addition, I coordinate on our marketing efforts, with one of my key projects being the company’s rebranding. I’m fluent in Russian, Polish, and English, and hold a degree in Sociology.
When I’m not working, I love creating, whether that’s crocheting, knitting clothes, or DIY furniture, and anything crafty. I’m also a huge fan of dogs, especially my own dog Ziuta, who I spend most of my time with. I love reading psychology books and adding to my plant collection too. Staying active is important to me, so I’m usually at the gym or riding a bike.”

Valentina Rodriguez, Proofreader and Translation Project Assistant

“Born and raised in Venezuela, I developed a passion for languages and literature from an early age. Thanks to my parents’ love for American and British music and movies, I grew up liking English and learning it quite easily.
As I grew older, I discovered a talent for writing, starting with short articles and ebooks before specializing in copywriting. This experience led me to write most of the content you see on our website.
Before joining Li’s translation department as a proofreader, I was writing social media ads, helping small businesses thrive in the digital world.
When I’m not proofreading your translations, you’ll likely find me playing with my two dogs— Messy and Queen—reading a new fiction book, adding to my foreign CD collection or trying to learn a new language.”
