Consecutive interpretation is conducted when the speaker(s) says a couple/few sentences at the time and then pauses to allow the interpreter to interpret and after the interpreter is through with the interpretation of that passage, the speaker begins speaking again. Usually used for a question and answer session like witness testimony, deposition, doctor’s appointment.
